Question: Where do we meet the tour?
We offer accommodation pickups from Busselton to Dunsborough and immediate surrounds, from both hotel and private accommodation. We can also pick up from Margaret River by arrangement and subject to availability.
Our Meet the Woylies tour also picks up from Cowaramup.
Question: Are your tours family friendly?
Yes, all our tours are suitable for children. We provide a unique activity sheet and pencils with every child ticket.
Question: Do you provide child car seats?
Yes, we have 2 car seats suitable for children aged 6 months to 7 years. Seats will need to be requested in advance.
Question: How much walking is involved in the tours?
A: Each tour is different in regards to the amount of walking: our Wine & Sights Discovery Tour has easy walks in the vicinity of the bus, the Meet the Woylies tour involves a 500 metre bush walk to the animal viewing sight, at dusk or night time, and the Coastal & Wildlife Eco Tour has longer walks which can be customised to the tour groups abilities. Please contact us if you are unsure whether a tour is suitable for you.
Question: Where is the Margaret River Region?
The Margaret River Region starts at Busselton, 2.5 hours drive south of Perth. We operate in the top half of the region, however, our custom tours can cover the whole region.

Question: What's the latest I can book a tour?
We recommend booking in advance to ensure your preferred date is available, however, we do accept bookings on the day of the tour if seats are available.
Question: How can I book?
We accept bookings through our website, by phone or by email, whatever suits you the best. Bookings will need to be paid in full if booking through our website. For phone and email bookings we require 50% deposit, with the remainder due on the day of tour. We accept Visa, Mastercard and Debit card, bank transfer if more than 2 weeks prior to booking date, and cash or card through our mobile eftpos machine on the day.
Question: What do I need to bring?
Please wear comfortable walking shoes, bring a hat and sunglasses, and a warm coat / rain coat if the weather is cold.
Question: What do you provide?
We provide water, morning or afternoon tea, umbrellas, binoculars and sunscreen. We also have a range of souvenirs available for purchase.
Question: Can I take photos of the Woylies?
Yes, photos are allowed.
Terms and Conditions:
By booking onto a South West Eco Discoveries tour, via phone, email, booking enquiry, contact us form, or otherwise, you have agreed to the following terms & conditions:
Your booking is not confirmed until you have provided payment details, and received in return a confirmation email from us advising that your seats are now booked.
If you need to change or cancel your booking please contact the South West Eco Discoveries office at least 48 hours prior to departure. If notification is given within 48 hours a 20% booking fee will be incurred. The full price of the tour will be charged if no notification is given or you are not at pickup location at the designated time. South West Eco Discoveries take no responsibility for personal injury. No refunds are given if we don’t see any wild animals, as we still have incurred the cost of the tour. Private Charters require a 50% deposit which will secure the vehicle for you. Private Charters cancelled within 5 days of the tour we be charged the fully quoted price. Tour guests (who are tasting wine/beer) must be 18+ years of age. Please let us know any dietary requirements so that we can cater for you accordingly. As we are viewing wild animals in their natural environment it is important guests do not touch or feed the animals. Our tour guides are qualified wildlife handlers and will ensure guests enjoy a safe experience.
